His cloak flowed behind him as he rode through woods and fields. He led his elegant white horse with it’s flowing mane over difficult terrain and through warring territories. The Wizard of Cheese fixed his hood and spurred his horse in hopes that he reaches his destination in time.

The Wizard of Cheese started as a blog about my family. With two boys ages 1 and 4, a 2 year old mutt, a wife and a crazy work and hobby schedule you never really run out of things to write about. I have been slowly gravitating the focus towards Gluten Free recipes that we have had great success with. Our 4 year old was diagnosed with a wheat allergy and he as been avoiding gluten/wheat products almost all his life. We challenged ourselves for a week to try his diet. Throughout that week we tried out various recipes and decided to extend the diet trial for longer. While it makes meal time much easier now by making only one meal everyone can eat it has brought us closer together as a family.

In addition to managing this site I frequently build goofy sites for fun (see Twiturder and ThongDrive), I try my hand at woodworking and programming web applications in Flash and JavaScript. We are also rabid fans of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers.
