His cloak flowed behind him as he rode through woods and fields. He led his elegant white horse with it’s flowing mane over difficult terrain and through warring territories. The Wizard of Cheese fixed his hood and spurred his horse in hopes that he reaches his destination in time.

The Wizard of Cheese started as a blog about my family. With two boys ages 2 and 5, a 3 year old mutt, a wife and a crazy work and hobby schedule you never really run out of things to write about. At one point our family slowly gravitated towards Gluten Free diet, thus the recipes that we have had great success with sprinkled throughout this blog. The reason behind this is one of our sons was allergic to wheat among other ingredients. He has built up a tolerance for wheat and some of his other allergies so we have moved back to a normal diet.

I try my hand at woodworking by making things like bird houses and contraptions for my vegetable garden. I also enjoy programming web applications in Flash and JavaScript along with trying to figure out iPhone development. I’m also a rabid fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers.
