I think the last console I had was the Sony Playstation. It got a ton of use when I had my apartment in the city. Friends would come over almost every night and we would play a fighting game Battle Arena Toshinden. The only thing I really remember was the character I always played “Fo” had a super special maneuver where he would spin around and stick his arse at the opponent then let one go that would knock the opponent off the platform. Each time, if I was lucky enough to get the key combination right, I think I would break into a fit of laughter. Anyway, yes it has been that long since I owned a console. Once I got into PC games I never really looked back.

So now we have the Wii and three games. The sports game that comes with it has pretty much been our entertainment for the past 3 days. Ryan has been tearing it up against Sue and I in the tennis and bowling game. He and I played golf before bed tonight and he did fairly well. Sue and I were up late last night playing each game. I think we ended with Mario Cart…I need to pick up another steering wheel. The “Play” game with the 9 games in it isn’t extremely exciting. There is a cow racing game that is entertaining and the Tank game that is fun. I have been researching games off and on and I can not really settle on the next game I want to get. Zelda looks like it might be a contender…but after playing RPG’s on the PC I’m anticipating being very bored with Zelda. If anyone has any recommendations please tell me. I would love to get Guitar Hero World Tour but do not think I want to shell out ~$180 right now.
