Today I took off from work in hopes of going on a field trip to Roba’s with Ryan and his preschool class. The plan backfired though and both boy ended up with ‘pink eye’ so we all spent the day home while Sue babysat. Dominic took two naps, one an hour and the other is going on 2 hours now. Some Jehovah Witnesses came to the door, rang the bell, made the dog bark and work Dominic up but after I dismissed them and calmed the dog the Dominator went back to sleep. We spent about an hour outside to get some fresh air, take the garbage out and play in the sandbox. Max was outside with us but he does not seem to be feeling good…maybe he got ‘pink eye’ also.

At lunch time both boys ate a ton. Ryan had two fluffer nutter sandwiches and two pieces of his pizza. Dominic had a bowl of baby food that included a complete container of bananas and one of corn/squash mixed together. Then he had some of his baby Cheeto type things. Overall a great lunch without any episodes.

I had Ryan in the living room laying on the couch while I browsed the web and answered emails. He had a good hour of what we call ‘quiet time’ although it really was anything but quiet. He would make noises to try to get my attention and start a flurry of questions about miscellaneous things until I told him to go to sleep. We did a lot of playing together throughout the day when Dominic took his naps. I think if he is feeling better later today and the weather is nice we may go fishing. It has been getting chilly really quickly from 5pm on so we’ll have to see.
