I got the domain working for Beads and Quilts. The site is up and partially running. We have yet to get an inventory together, pictures, prices, descriptions oooh and a payment system. I would like to finish some styling and content writing then focus on the payment method. I got some great tips from my step brother David about how he put together the Digital Militia site. I think I am going to use Google Cart for the payment system. He used Paypal for the above site but since Google’s cart has been out I think I’m going to give it a try. Magento appears to have modules to work with it.

We finally purchased a new digital camera Canon Powershot A590IS. I wanted to go the next step up and get the one with 10x optical zoom but I think it was around $300….and I didn’t think I was going to zoom that much. I have been taking pictures here and there to test it and the results are amazing compared to our old camera. The A590IS only cost us $129 at Circuit City. We added a 4 GB memory card a case and some lithium batteries. Total bill around $190. I’m really happy with it so far.
